Star Wars Day at Space Center Houston

May 4, 2014, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

A galaxy far, far away is invading Space Center Houston for an unforgettable “May the Fourth” celebration. Join Obi Shawn and a cast of other Star Wars characters as we explore the fascinating parallels of space science and Star Wars. Enjoy physics activities throughout the day as you build your own “Balloon-saber,” craft LED creations and feel the “force” of magnetism. Top off the day with an indoor laser light show and special performances.

Star Wars Weekend at the Virginia Air & Space Center

Saturday, May 3, 2014 – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 4, 2014 – 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Join the Virginia Air & Space Center for a stellar weekend of activities as we celebrate Space Day on May 3 and Star Wars Day on “May the Fourth!”  Meet your favorite Star Wars character, use “the force” to control a drone,  create a miniature version of the planet Hoth using dry ice, and more!  Padawans will enjoy creating Yoda or Ewok stick puppets and Chewbacca bookmarks!  Guests who come dressed as their favorite Star Wars  character receive $1 off exhibit admission
